    That’s funny as hell, but why is Obama a dog? Because he has brown skin?

    Brings to mind those immortal lines by Derek Walcott, from his poem “The Spoiler’s Return”

    I going to bit them young ladies, partner, / like a hot dog or a hamburger / and if you thin, don’t be in a fright / is only big fat women I going to bite.

    I don’t think the image necessarily has the racist connotations you’re suggesting Quin. He’s represented as a dog because, from one metaphorical point of view, he’s the underdog biting the ass of the lady who would like to position herself as the front-runner. In reality it probably could be represented the other way around. Hillary — “the bitch” — biting the ass of Mr. GQ as he strides down the runway on his way to the nomination.

    But is Obama really the underdog? I guess I’m out of touch, but I thought he had something close to a lock on the superdelegates.
