  1. Just got word there’s a significant likelihood of a *major* pay cut at CE. I would very much appreciate it if you could pray for Divine Providence for the Shea clan. At this point, I don’t know what we’re going to do and I’m pretty worried.

  2. my great uncle is going in on the 3rd to have surgury. I think my mom said he had an anyurism (sp?) in his stomach area? Well I do know it is in his stomach area, and he hasnt been able to hardly do anything at all. After the surgery he will be in the hospital for about a week. From the sounds of it Mom and Dad and Grandma and Grandpa are all going to drive over to Bend on the 4th and visit him and help his wife out a bit.
Grandma said something about cooking a few meals and freezing them for her. Anyways, keep Uncle Ted in your prayers please that everything comes out smoothly. He is one of my favorites. He always knows how to make you smile when you are down.

  3. I began chemotherapy on Tuesday, so I would appreciate any prayers that can be directed my way.

  4. Tony was kidnapped and the kidnappers want $3000 in ransom money. Please pray that God will show His glory in the outcome of this situation.

  5. I met a lady tonight and her best friend has a missing daughter. She has been online with a man who is in his late 30’s and he lives out of state. She is 14 years old. This has been going on quite some time. She ran away from home Friday night and no one has seen her or heard from her. Please pray that she is safe and will be found or be able to get to a safe location and come home. Thank you so much for being prayer warriors.

  6. Would you please pray for me to focus on attaining my degree & teaching certificate, and to have the strength to stay away from destructive influences in my life.

  7. Feels like I’m on the cusp of a midlife crisis. Frightening to think I blew the first half of it and will most likely blow the second half. That question of Will Barrett’s in The Second Coming is a haunting one: Can you miss your life like you miss an airplane?

  8. Please keep my friend Diane in your prayers. She just had half her stomache removed and has just come home from 2 weeks in hospital.

  9. I’m facing a few trials in my life. I’m seeking to do God’s will and I would like his wisdom on how I can overcome these trials. It has been difficult for me to put all my trust in the Lord.

  10. I have been sufferning from my back hurting for so many months now. I am not sure why, I cannot walk more then 20 min and I am slouched down like I am 100 years old. It just burns and hurts to much to move on another step. Yet If I sit down I feel a cooling action in my back, and it stops hurting for a while, kind of numb if you will. Heck, some people that are triple my age move better then I do. I pray for a healing in my back. I know I am overweight, and have had some medical issues. But the doctors can’t seem to find anything wrong with me on paper for my back, yet this pain continues daily, and I feel is a real hindurance from my life. I am a single mom, I need all the energy I can get. Not to mention, if I could move better, I might be able to exercise more and get healthy! So plain and simple, Please pray for the healing of my back…and if you can include help to loose weight and be healthy, I know that God will help me out. I am confident in his timing that he will heal me!

  11. Over the weekend I learned a couple of my friends had lost their jobs. We’ve talked and I know that their trust is in God. There was no need for me to “preach to the choir” and remind them that God will provide for their needs. Even so, I ask for your prayer support, that God would lead them to gainful employment soon and that their respective families will be made stronger through this experience rather than weakened.

Dear Saint Joseph, you were yourself once faced with the responsibility of providing the necessities of life for Jesus and Mary. Look down with fatherly compassion upon my friends in their axiety over their present inability to support their families. Please help them to find gainful employment very soon, so that this heavy burden of concern will be lifted from their heart and that they are soon able to provide for those whom God has entrusted to their care. Help them to guard against bitterness and discouragement, so that they may emerge from this trial spiritually enriched and with even greater blessings from God. Amen.
