IMG_20150502_200308Rotate Caeli has a great sermon for this past Sunday (Extraordinary Form) by a priest in full communion with Rome on the Holy Father’s new document, The Joy of Marriage Sex. Listen and you’ll be mad you did – but at least now you can say, you know, you know.

Readings for this past Sunday (Extraordinary Form). (FYI)

I haven’t read it, so I need to be careful. It’s believable through. Thanks, JOB.

  2. Big Jon Bully says

    Dark times these.

  3. Rufus McCain says

I don’t know, JOB. I don’t doubt the sincerity of this, but I find myself fundamentally disagreeing with the basic spirit and tenor of it. I find the analogy between Stalin and the post-Vatican “mandatory enthusiasm” whiningly overblown if not reprehensible. Is this “a great sermon”? I don’t think it is. I think it’s about half true at best, a wrong-headed distortion of the gospel at worst. If I have to choose between this guy and Pope Francis, I’ll go with the pope and the corrective I believe the Holy Spirit is working in the Church through his efforts.
