A Sacred Moment of Love
Sometimes it must be now:
the moment when, er, a bull
approaches his beloved cow—
it isn’t always so venerable.
The Bored Lover Seeks Novelty
The mares seemed so last year,
so the stud mused, “That zedonk
on the far side of the pasture
has one hell of a badonkadonk.”
Hey gang,
The other day I finished reading this funny little novel Amends. (which I suppose includes bored lovers, so it’s kind of on topic Quin!) I got it via kindle and it reminded me of reading Surfing With Mel for the first time online. I think you bad catholics would probably get a kick out of it.
Thanks Paul! Got it, just read the first chapter, and am liking it a lot. I think most of us have read ET on and off for years and know her beat, more or less. Thanks for the recommendation. Can’t say I’m a bored reader, but I’m always looking for something new.
I only know her from an odd column in the National Catholic Register now and again. Would never have known she’d had this caliber of writing in her.
I’m grateful for all the books I’ve learned about thanks to the Korrektiv so I’d be remiss if I didn’t check in with y’all.
What’s up to every body, it’s my first visit of this web site; this blog includes remarkable and genuinely excellent material designed for readers.|
