      I have a photocopy of that letter in a file somewhere. One of the many amazing documents held in the Percy archives at Chapel Hill.

        Just a thought: If you do come across your copy of the letter — or any other nice finds from the Percy archives — a scan or photo might make for a good post. No pressure, of course.
