R.I.P.

Dennis Hopper attended Helix High School here in La Mesa, started acting at the Old Globe Theater in San Diego, and was involved in the founding of the La Jolla Playhouse. He also made a few movies. Now he’s dead. You could do worse things than check out Red Rock West.

One of my favorite actors, and human beings, in Hollywood. You might want to look up what Roger L. Simon has to say about him.

    "Mommy, Daddy wants to …"

I didn't know any of that about his personal life. I liked his roles in the movies of his I've seen – that creepy guy with the nitrous oxide in Blue Velvet. Red Rock West was great; and don't forget River's Edge where he played another creep with a Keanu Reeves and other kids half his age.
