The kindhearted folks over at Aquinas and More Catholic Goods have inaugurated a Catholic summer reading program, and have included the little book on a list with names like Schall, Chesterton, and Miller. My only explanation: I’ve got “swimming” in the title, and summer is the perfect time for swimming…wait for it…with scapulars. I’m tickled pink.

  1. Hi Matthew, would you be interested in doing an interview about your book? Whether or not it is chosen for the program I would like to put that on the site so people can get a better idea about what they are thinking about buying.

I’d be delighted. Email me (click the feather pen at the top of the page) and let me know what format you have in mind.

I think I told you before that my boss (the favorite of the ones I had at the parish I worked at before I quit my job) Fr. Dan loved your book and recommended it to just about anyone he could get to listen to him. He was an avid reader. We had packages coming in to the office from Amazon at least once a week if not more often.

He was a great fan of Newman and Chesterton, and, well I guess you.

In fact that is why I read your book.

  4. Congratulations, Matthew. I loved the book.

  5. Matthew Lickona says

Why, thank you, Ernesto. And thanks, Angelmeg, for that story.
