The Reality of Women in Combat

“Many Marines developed dysentery from the complete lack of sanitary conditions. When an uncontrollable urge hit a Marine, he would be forced to stand, as best he could, hold an MRE bag up to his rear, and defecate inches from his seated comrade’s face.”

Now, of course the military isn’t going to put women into those situations (at least I hope not). But, military minds will now devote precious resources and mental energy to determine exactly WHICH combat situations women can be used. To be sure, there will be lawsuits and affirmative action promotions. The whole stinking shabang.

In addition to the disgrace of metrosexual America sending women to fight its wars. We’re the Byzantine Empire now.

Norm Macdonald (Adult Content)

For no particular reason here are a couple of links featuring the comedian Norm Macdonald. This first is an excerpt from the show, “Me Doing Stand-up”(if you haven’t seen it, live stream or rent it ASAP). The second is a poor quality video of Macdonald talking about atheists generally, and Bill Maher specifically. His wisdom is on full display in both clips.

Funny and fearless. Recommended.

Zero Hedge

For our disinterested readers, Zero Hedge has been a daily dose during this winter of my discontent, and I’ve been intending to pass it on for a few months. Most of the entries are posted anonymously by “Tyler Durden.” The contributors include more than forty financial insiders who share a collective dismay over the real economic condition of the U.S. and the rest of the world. They seem to have professional reasons to remain anonymous . Sometimes the terminology is a bit technical, but you’ll get the idea. This post is a good summation of a number of entries and include links to previous posts.

For those who want to see how the sausage is made. For those who do not, I don’t blame you a bit. Enjoy the hot dog because we’re probably powerless to fix things anyway.
