    I’ve had my mother’s art – not painted by her but inherited by me – altered [alter/altar – the Apostle probably thinks in their honour]. I don’t mean I organised it but that it was done by people I don’t know, either tenants or while I was out, at least some of it since I returned home from a long holiday in May last year.
