…”going fetal” is taking on a whole new meaning.
A nod to Kierkegaard and Walker Percy: existentialist tomfoolery, political satire, literary homage, word mongering, a year-round summer reading club, Dylanesque music bits, apocalyptic marianism, poetry, fiction, meta-porn, a prisoner work-release program.

Hat McCulloch killed those babies in self-defense!
that’s metal
The seamless garment of Cartoon Satire Teaching.
Guys, guys. Those are babies you’re talking about. People. What I’m dealing with are Nazi zombie aborted fetuses. Whole new ballgame.
ugh, Nazi Zombies are *OVER*
That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t keep looking for some pliant indie game dev to make the Alphonse game a reality. Then you can finally come full circle on that project and move on to the great Post-Modern American Catholic farce!
(just started A&E and so far Beha is no John Kennedy Toole…)
Did you just suggest…retooling Alphonse as a comedy? I think that might be brilliant. I’ve actually got something like that going on in Bat out of Hell, but it’s in the very early stages. Fetal, even.
Steady there… I certainly prefer the dark brooding Shakespearian Alphonse. Not sure if you want him to get confused for “umbert,” the generally upbeat fella that’s been on the last pages of the Nat. Cath. Register for as long as I can remember.
But by all means please please please keep writing!
Oh, that’s right – Shakespeare. Issue Three was gonna be A Mousing Owl. Issue Four, So Much Blood. Issue Five, Sound and Fury, I think. Sigh.
