H/T Rorate Caeli
A nod to Kierkegaard and Walker Percy: existentialist tomfoolery, political satire, literary homage, word mongering, a year-round summer reading club, Dylanesque music bits, apocalyptic marianism, poetry, fiction, meta-porn, a prisoner work-release program.

I like the font used for “Editorial”. So 1959.
And the Péguy quotation.
Not to mention the stats
If there were a tag for “Things to discuss with Powers over drinks” I would have hit it.
Yes, the Peguy is quite astonishing – if you look at official documents these days of the Church in the U.S., most of them are written by committee – rife with “committeespeak” – and so the personal touch is lost forever.
Typical, of course, of the American hierarchy these days – a personal touch where it is not only not welcomed but illegal – and a cold, impersonal stance where what is most wanted is some of that personality which makes – not front page news in the scandal sheets – but history.
Christifideles, pray for us!
JOB
This is simply amazing!
