So after JOB posted his link yesterday, I went and got lost at Cosmos in the Lost. Any man who’s willing to argue that Camus and Sartre were secret believers has my interest. (It really is remarkable how much of Percy is built off of these two.) And any scholar of Czeslaw Milosz has my attention. Anyway, I noticed a donate button on the blog’s front page. Go thou and donate!
That’s a great Milosz poem, thanks. I’ll do one of those reponse post thingums so popular on YouTube: http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/a-poem-for-the-end-of-the-century/
Cosmos the in Lost: Come for the Milosz, stay for the Girard.
Don’t think, don’t remember
The death on the cross,
Though everyday He dies,
The only one, all-loving,
Who without any need
Consented and allowed
To exist all that is,
Including nails of torture.
I wrote a villanelle once on this theme…
JOB
Awesome blog!
I was going to post a link to that website a while back, but I wasn’t sure where to do it or if it would be kosher.
He is a friend of a friend and therefore a Facebook friend of mine. I know, I know FB is dreadful.

Post links in comments, we don’t fret overmuch about kosher. He seems an excellent fellow. Yay Facebook! (Did that sound convincing?)
Acts 10 FTW
Well then.

Actually, I’m getting ready to hide almost everybody I know on Facebook that’s not related to me, put my blog on hiatus and more-or-less go into hiding until Advent–or maybe Christmas. I’m not sure I can keep from posting on the blog in Advent.

Well, we’ll miss you in the comments, but it’s hard to argue against the wisdom of hiding from the Internet.
I did say more-or-less.
