Happy, Happy, Happy Trinity Sunday

A nod to Kierkegaard and Walker Percy: existentialist tomfoolery, political satire, literary homage, word mongering, a year-round summer reading club, Dylanesque music bits, apocalyptic marianism, poetry, fiction, meta-porn, a prisoner work-release program.

I love this picture. I had it on the wall of my PRE classroom.

Lovely. Thanks Angelico.
Thanks, Ms Cupo and Mr Webb.
Trinitarian monotheism is the best. Easily my favorite doctrine.
Ms Cupo, could you tell if people noticed the picture in your classroom? I imagine it could be a good conversation piece.
You can call me Janet or Mrs. Cupo. I don’t hold with that Ms. stuff. 😉
I have the First Communion class, so my students probably notice everything, although I don’t remember anyone ever asking about it. I usually put pictures up as I discuss the doctrines or events that they portray, but I think I must have just hung this one because I liked it so much.
There used to be a Christian Brother who taught at the Protestant seminary where I work. He hung several really nice pictures around different places and this was one of them. I’d never seen it before, but I immediately went and found it online and printed a copy for the class. This being the Coronation of Mary, I never thought before about using it for the Trinity, but it would be good. I usually use this one: http://www.albrecht-durer.org/Adoration-of-the-Trinity.html
