Palm Trees & Cell Towers

Do you think those cell towers have anything to do with this?

    • Matthew Lickona says

      Okay, that’s just scary.

      • Angelico Nguyen, Esq., OP says

No, I think it’s just Ligeti.

        • Cubeland Mystic says

This probably won’t surprise you but I think it is a forewarning of the Apocalyptic events. Be prepared.

In the words of one prophet:

Things don’t make sense. Look at the bees. The bees tell you about the state of the world.

The head of my order is calling an “Ascetic Moot” to discuss the sounds. My first inclination was those sounds are gates of hell being opened. You hear those kind of things all the time when you are walking around in the desert. What’s disturbing is normal people are starting to hear the sounds. I haven’t been to a Moot in over a thousand years. Not since William the Conqueror. If there is a Moot, then something is up. I will let you know what the outcome is.

                Thank you, brother!

I’m aware that Our Lord disclaimed knowing the hour or the day of His return — but if you mystics could share your best guesstimate, I for one would be much obliged.

I will keep you informed. I am packing now. My extra set of filthy rags, and a crust of stale bread.

                  • Matthew Lickona says

Bread! You’re gathering your strength. Next you’ll be munching locusts. At which point I will finally buy a firearm.

                    • Cubeland Mystic says

LOL. Don’t wait. Buy that firearm now.

I was able to capture onto video a recent vision I had. I am still praying for discernment.

                    • Angelico Nguyen, Esq., OP says

I think the bread-crust means Cubeland Mystic is abandoning the grub-and-root ‘paleodiet’ that’s hitherto given him his longevity. This is a wordless warning — a sign of the depth of his conviction that Armageddon is upon us. (Or at least the Korrektivdämmerung.)

The wilderness rose up to it,
And sprawled around, no longer wild.

Tolkien may not agree, but there really is an elegance to the abstraction of those towers — at least when you catch them and the palm trees in silhouette like this. Their stark honesty is much preferable to the insulting idiocy of cell towers disguised as trees.

This comment feels so sad and lonely here, sipping its lukewarm cup of cummings sans rejoinders. (T&C is a marvelous bookofpoems, btw. Check it out ye poeticizers!)

I was going to go in and delete the test comments, but now I am enjoying this. I do think we could all pitch in to create Better Walker Percy Recent Comments.
