The failure of Alphonse continues.

This is a still from the trailer for the remake of Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark. It’s kind of hard to tell from this image, but that round thing in the lower left portion is a head, and yes, those are two tiny arms gripping the bars of that radiator grill, and yes, the crawling monster thing looks a hell of a lot like a fetus.

    Cold comfort, I suppose, but at leasts you can be consoled in knowing that your idea was ORIGINAL and not a trotting out of old (made-for-TV, no less!) Hollywood scripts from the time when plaid was glad and hair was everywhere.

    Aside: I doubt anyone can beat Jim Hutton's performance in the original.
