Augustine’s Member, which has seen two chapters posted here at the Korrektiv, includes a chapter in which the hero visits the Real Doll factory and takes its product for a spin. The Real Doll is a very expensive, very lifelike sex doll. Here is a short documentary about its creation. Be advised: it’s very graphic – lots of nudity, albeit all of the latex figure variety. My favorite part is where he talks about somehow interfacing the thing with a computer, because that’s exactly what I had him doing in the novel. Hoo!

Hi, new reader! Welcome! The Today in Porn segments aren't all that regular actually; we've just been having a run of late. Please don't let them interfere with your enjoyment of this blog's many other fine features and contributors.
But a mild bleat in response to your question: they aren't really references to porn production. Rather, they are an attempt to track porn's incursion into mainstream pop culture. This post, for instance, links to a film that is hosted on the blog of New York magazine, a truly mainstream pop culture outpost. Other posts mention feature films concerning porn (which are not themselves porn films), mainstreamcelebrities whose lives brush up against pornography, and the like.
What's with all this porno lately/
