A nod to Kierkegaard and Walker Percy: existentialist tomfoolery, political satire, literary homage, word mongering, a year-round summer reading club, Dylanesque music bits, apocalyptic marianism, poetry, fiction, meta-porn, a prisoner work-release program.

In The Ravine is indeed a great story. My own favorite Chekhov story is Ward No. 6, which I also discovered through Percy.
Haven't read either of them for a bit. Think Percy's a bit of a bore.
Last night a colleague, who is a practising Catholic, compared me to Pope Benedict because of my forgiving attitude towards another colleague. You are very, very lucky to have me as an anonymous contributor.
Wow.
Pray tell; why exactly did this nincompoop require your forgiving attitude?
