More Unpleasantness For Lady Gadfly

A nod to Kierkegaard and Walker Percy: existentialist tomfoolery, political satire, literary homage, word mongering, a year-round summer reading club, Dylanesque music bits, apocalyptic marianism, poetry, fiction, meta-porn, a prisoner work-release program.

Steyn for U.S Senate.
You’re probably his only fan these days. Are you him? He must wish he was back with the Evening Standard.
Lady, you need to get a grip.
Whether you like Steyn or you can’t stand him – and I think it’s perfectly reasonable that people with such different opinions don’t like him – why would you say something like “you’re probably his only fan these days”? Since I posted the link, and Henri commented with “Steyn for U.S. Senate”, there are obviously at least two fans. So which of us is the “only fan”? Your comment just looks silly.
And what do you mean by “Are you him?” You can’t seriously confuse a drunken Mick with the prolific Canuck. Do you mean that I wish I could write like Steyn, instead of just posting links? Do I ever.
Why in the world would he want to be back at the Evening Standard? He seems pretty happy where he is now, which is just about everywhere.
We can agree to disagree, or however the tune goes, but for your own sake … get a grip.
