on Ornithologic Inspiration

The author of All Manner of Thing stopped by to comment on The Discarded Image, so I followed the link and read this wonderful piece on birdsong – apparently the birds are back up in the Great White North. Too bad it’s still February here in the Dear But Drab Northwest. The piece is a sort of “From the YouTube Ornithologic Inspiration Archives”, or at least that’s what it would have been if it were one of my goofy posts.

I’m looking forward to the sequel, on Olivier Messiaen.
