The “bloggers” here at the Korrektiv “blog” are pleased to announce that we have submitted our application for accreditation as a Web Log to the American Association of Web Logs. Following the accreditation process, which will run through January 2009, if all goes well, we will be an official Web Log. Henceforth scholars citing references from Korrektiv as well as casual readers mentioning Korrektiv at the breakfast table will be asked to refer to Korrektiv as “The Korrektiv Web Log”. This is just a heads up. You might want to start practicing now so you’re ready for the big transition next January.
